Chevy Emblems

I have a 2006 Chevy 2500HD Silverado. It was a basic model and did not have the tailgate emblems (chevy bow tie, chevrolet or silverado).

Other than the dealer, is there an aftermarket source for these parts?

Thanks

Lar

Re: Chevy Emblems

Actually, I kinda like the looks of the plain tailgates on the base model trucks with just the classic style Chevrolet script across the tailgate.

You could add tailgate emblems from the LS/LT trucks easy as they just stick on with 3M tape. Any GM dealer can sell you those decals for relatively cheap. Or take a walk through Wal-Mart’s parking lot on a warm day with a butter knife in hand and grab your own. .......Just kidding

I am not a fan of the 2007 and later Chevrolet or GMC body style or body quality but the tailgate bowtie on the new Chevrolets is a pretty nice piece. Here is one for sale on Ebay now that would look nice on your truck.

I like the plain tailgate with the simple script for some reason.
