I am hoping someone here will get them installed soon...the mock-up cab I had did not have a seat in it.

They will fit no problem, they take up less space than the tank did.

Re: 67-72 cab corner 6x9 speaker brackets

I don't have any pics right now but I did a test fit with the set I got from Jeff with my after market custom seat in place and the fit is great. Tucked into the corner with no problem. Even with a speaker mounted there is considerable room between the bracket and custom seat. With a stock set of buckets or bench seat should fit great. Wanted to work on them this week end but my plans got changed last night. Have to make a un-scheduled trip out of town and won't be back until Sunday evening. Hope to work on the install next Monday for sure.

Jeff, sorry have not gotten them installed before this. They look to be first rate and the material used is most excellant. Really anxious to get them installed and going. Any one buying these for a 67-72 cab should be quite pleased. First thing tho is to move the stock in-cab tank as you mentioned as they will not fit unless that is done.

Re: 67-72 cab corner 6x9 speaker brackets

For any one who has an interest in these 67-72 corner speaker brackets I've started today with the install. Wanted to do this over the week-end but a family matter came up and a quick Aunt/Uncle move with a U-haul, F*rd truck rental from hell, break down finally got home about mid night last night. Have a few pics of them loosely installed in truck with seat removed and showing the in-cab tank removed to show most definetly WILL NOT fit with in cab tank still present. Pics are in the audio section if want to see them.

Jeff, they look great, nice job, hope to get them and the head unit installed very soon.

Re: 67-72 cab corner 6x9 speaker brackets

Still have some sets left fellas.

Also, came across a small snag due to a machine shop snafu. If you purchased a set WITH holes and haven't already heard from me, please send me a PM! The brackets with holes need updated floor angle brackets, which I now have and have sent out to those who I had a PAYPAL record of. I think there was 1 or 2 that paid via MO or personal check...but I don't have their names or addresses.

Again, problem has been solved, just want to make sure everyone can successfully install these in their truck with no issues.

Thank you Gary for the feedback, and thanks to those who have purchased a set from me!

Thanks for the purchase. I had a 1 day delay in shipping yours, couldn't get to the PO before they closed (work). They will show up on your doorstep next week.

Jeff, I have looked at this area many times trying to figure a way to get something to look right there, looks like you nailed it.

Do you have a set with the holes still?

Barry

Really cool setup you came up with. Do you have any more no holes or are they all gone?

Re: 67-72 cab corner 6x9 speaker brackets

Jeff, was finally able to get back to installing these after a bit of a break in progress. Posted some pics and explanations in the audio section. Will really look good when I get them primed and painted. Fit is excellant with just a little bit of "tweaking" here and there. Most satisfied, thanks for doing these for the 67-72 crowd.
