I'm going to pull my 3.42 gear carrier out for a open. Its a gov-lok though, I suspect you want a LSD for the street.

Will this work for a 3.07? I was going to put it in my 3.73 rearend until my motor
decided it needed some attention. So now I have to finance a rebuild. I know there are two sizes carriers, but I can never remember if the 3.73 is a 3 of 4 serries. Would be shipping from North TX. Price is negotiable.

Keystroke, the 3.73 carrier is 4 series, while the 3.07-3.42 carrier is 3 series. So the 3.73 carrier wouldn't work with 3.07 gears.

how much of a hurry are you in? i have one thats currently in my truck....3.08 posi...but im gonna change to a 3.73 and i have another posi for that..but it could be several months before i get to that ...
