Me and my C10 Chevys from Argentina

hi everyone, my name is Bruno and I'm from Argentina. i'm a big fan of Chevys. i've reached this forum by GMCBsAs, who i know by the Chevy Club of Buenos Aires forum.
Here are my family's 1971 and 1972 C10 Pickups. the first one, the blue 1971 has been always in my family, it was bought in 1971 by my grandfather, and it's the jewel of the family. it has a 230" six-cyilinder engine, powered by "joseph competicion", a famous racing motorist here in Argentina. by now i can't tell you many details because my technical english is a little poor, but i'll try to improve it!
it has 15x10" wheels with 270-60-15 tires, hidraulic direction, a trilayered paint and many other things, but i think i don't have eonough space to tell you here!!
it's lowered 8 cm, but the plans for this year are to put on it a neumatic suspension system.
about the red 1972, we bought it this year, as an excuse to use it for doing the work than the other one doesn't do anymore jeje. it's almost all original, except for the colour.

here are some pictures, but you can find more details, pictures and videos at the webpage i did for the blue one: http://www.laocker.com.ar

here is a video I posted at youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xoP_Zv8_gw

Greetings from Argentina!!

Bruno (Bruce is my nickname)

hi, here there were not V6 availables, the only availables are the 230" and 250" Six-in-line cylinder. here are mire pictures of the blue 1971's engine and the gauges, the old and the new dashboard

DASHBOARD:
we build an entire fiberglass dashboard and installed those gauges, but last year we decided tu build an entiure new one with better gauges.
the first gauges were "Starth" not very popular and not very good, that's why we decided to change them, and the ones that are installed now are "Orlan Rober", one of the top, the principal competitor for Autometer here in Argentina.
so here are both boards:
the first one is the old, and the other is the new one

greetings for you, Manu Ginobili and Fabri Oberto!! GO SPURS!!! JEJEJE

Re: Me and my C10 Chevys from Argentina

About engines, the only availables for the C10 were the 230 and 250 cubic inches six-cylinder. the 250 was an option. in both of my trucks i have the 230". it came with Holley 36. i keep it in the 1972, but in the 1971 i put a holley 40/40 with a edelbrock air filter and other spicy stuff, it sounds great and races even better!!

thanks Kuma, the exhaust manifold originally was 6 to 1, but i installed a sport 6 to 2 with four scape mouths at the back of the truck. about the intake manifold, actually has the original with a holley 36, but last week I bought and chromed a 2 mouth intake from a nova coupe (here called chevrolet chevy) and also bought a new 40/40 Holley, so next month i'll be installing it!
