Re: Project Cannonball C10

Not a lot of updates in the past couple of months. The shop has been super busy getting some SEMA projects done and my company launched a bunch of new products which meant lots of hours for me.

We did get the gas tank mounted up in the frame with some trick brackets that Wes fabbed up, and the bed is mostly finished and ready for primer now. He did such a nice job on the minitub and C-notch cover...looks like it came straight from GM. Unfortunately I don't have any good pics of it yet

Hope to be back on the project in mid-November after a couple of days of post-SEMA rest for Wes. I have a room up at the house filled with all the parts which has barely been tiding me over...so excited to start bolting this thing together and get it out on the road!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Looking forward to bringing Cannonball C10 out to our company auto club lunches to hang with the Italians and P-cars.

That's the look we are going for. The mini tubbing of the wheel wells look so stock that I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't seen the cuts for the extra 3 inches

Naw..... Those that are familiar should notice it pretty quick if they count the beads/indents in the tub. OE tubs have 3.....

Love the bed! It looks so simple and clean! Love the fact that it looks like it could have come like this at first! Nice work!

Awesome build! You've got to two tone it that last rendering is perfect! Talk about sleeper! We're going to need lots of GoPro footage from your first track day. Make sure you position the cameras to get there faces as you're passing. Posted from my I-Pad Air

Thanks! I'm pretty pumped about the color scheme. We've got some cool ideas for track day photo shoots when this thing is all done.
