What’s one more, right?

Just figured I’d post it on here, haven’t been on here much and been dealing with a lot of 67-72 stuff. Bought this from one of our customers here at work when we went to her place. 1964 c20 longbed step-side, v8 (haven’t ran numbers on it yet but probably a 283), 4 speed on the floor and bolt on toolboxes in place of the fenders but still have the original fenders. It’s rough and rusty but it’s all there. Turns over, needs new fuel and such but figured what’s one more to tinker with right? Put air in the old highway king tires and they all held. Trees were starting to take her over so I pulled it out and brought her home for a couple hundred bucks so figured I’d share.

Re: What’s one more, right?

Thanks guys! I’m debating on whether or not I want to take the boxes off and put the sides back on or keep them on to keep tools in at the pasture and get it running and driving and use it out with my parts pickups.

Re: What’s one more, right?

Thanks for saving her. Those tool boxes might be a period correct add on. I've got some old camping magazines that have ads for those. Remove fenders and replace with tool box. I believe the ones I saw were made by Koeing.

This is the second one with a set of these that I’ve seen. The other set is on a shortbed step side factory 4x4 that I’ve been after for about 6 years now. These are Morrison brand, all the doors open and close nicely.

Re: What’s one more, right?

Problem i see sense i have the problem is i own 9 trucks No time to work on them and money a little short. Now i'm told my father is selling 3 of his big commercial property's that are worth a pretty penny here in Calif.Looks like i might have a little extra doe sense i'm the only child. But i'm stetting my eyes on the bigger trucks the 1964--66 C50--C80 trucks Put the LS motors in with the Allison 9 speeds auto's in them.

Have to wait and see
