1970 c50 PS pump quesion

My 70 c50 just showed up from Utah finally. I am running through the smalls to dial this thing in as much as possible. It's has PS but the motor was swapped for a later 350 it was originally a 350 as well and looks to have correct pulleys. Problem is PS bump is dead and is the normal car/truck style. I have a bunch of them. Will the standard pump be OK on this set up or do I need the bigger one with the double groove pulley and external resovoir?

Re: 1970 c50 PS pump quesion

Most likely why the current pump is dead, too small. Remember the size tire it's trying to turn. Someone here has old literature to verify I'm sure, Matter of fact I know it's a larger pump, wait.. my memory provided a picture of one I've seen, haha. I would try to find or purchase the correct pump. Try the pumps you have first, but if used regularly, use correct one
