C20 coil springs

MY 72 c20 came with heavy duty coil springs in the rear, its sits pretty high in the rear and I was wondering if a factory coil spring(that isn't heavy duty) would sit any lower? thanks

Re: C20 coil springs

By "heavy duty" do you mean C20 3/4 ton coils or does your truck have a "Heavy Duty" option?

My 68 C20 has rear coils, but it also had a helper leaf spring for when the coil went lower than a certain point.

I replaced my C20 coils with C10 4" lowering coils. 1/2 ton coils fit nicely.

Here is the difference between factory 3/4 ton coil and the 4" lower 1/2 ton coil I put in!
