I need a measurement from someone with an assembled gmc

I was wondering if someone could tell me what the measurement Is from the front bumper center or from the outer bumper bolt square punched edge to the center of the inner headlight is? I am wanting to add fog lights to my bumper and I want the lights centered under the inner bulb. Picture s of the measurements could be helpful too. Pictures below show kind of what I need. Thanks in advance. Rod.

Never mind the holes in the bumper.. Park your truck on a dead level surface.. Make absolutely sure the surface is level.. Drop a plumb bob from the center of the headlight bulb. Let the plumb bob line hang down below the bumper. Mark the bumper where the line crosses it.. Locate the horizontal center line for the fog light hole.. Drill the opening for the fog light at the intersection of the two lines.. Viola, except for mounting brackets, you're done..

Ok. I'd love to do that myself but my truck is in pieces.

I've got about 10-1/2 to 10-5/8''. Truck not level and I can't move it at the moment with my bad leg not being able to push on the clutch. That is from the top bumper bolt hole.

wondering how deep the lamp is with the bumper brace behind there

I don't normally do this much "spoon feeding" of information. I'd rather offer enough help/information so that the student has to do some of the "figuring out" himself.. But here's a couple clues to get you going.. Measure the distance between the bumper bolt holes.. Measure the distance between the headlights.. Divide the difference by 2.. That should get you started..

If you read my build thread I do a lot of figuring out myself thank you very much. Don't need your comments at all. I asked for a measurement not to be schooled on your do's and dont's or grammar corrections. . I would have appreciated if you just moved past this thread and never commented.

Thank you very much. The lights are fairly deep. I will have to make custom outer brackets to get these in this location but that I can do after. My metal guy is straightening my bumper next week and he would like to weld in the ring that mounts the lights at the same time. That's why I needed the measurements fairly quick.

Upgrade to H4 style headlights with relays, no need for additional lights...
