Where is a good place for your amp?

I currently have mine temporarily in the console of my buddy bucket seats - I'm not crazy about drilling hole out the bottom of the console for the wires, but I probably will, because I can't find a better place for it. My question to you guys would be where a good ground would be? Right now it's attached to the dash (a little hokey). Also, I am getting interference through the amp (buzzing/static from the motor). Where should I avoid running the amp power wires close to so I don't get any interference?

If your gettin interference from the motor, run a ground loop isolator. Mine use to do it real bad from the HEI (have a 50,000Volt Coil) until I put a ground loop isolator and mine and now its clear as a bell plus there really cheap (around $10 at Walmart).

Ground loop isolator is a good start. I usually tie into the seat bolts for ground, but anything that you can get a solid connection from is acceptable. You also want to keep your ground wire as short as possible and the same size as the power wire.
