What are these fender gizmotrons called?

Would anyone know what these fender C clip nut thingies are called and where I can get these particular ones, I think these are the stock ones, please correct me if I am wrong, I think my fenders are aftermarket and the previous owners used 7 different types of clips on them but these are my favorite and my best

a direct linky link to buy them would be greatly appreciated

please and thank you

J-nuts. I got these U-nuts and they worked well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071DFK1XZ
I do like the kind you show a picture of, so I'm staying tuned for other answers.

Re: What are these fender gizmotrons called?

I just recently bought a package of those, along with bolts, to re-install my inner fenders from GMCPauls right here on this site.

Re: What are these fender gizmotrons called?

The bane of anyone who's ever removed the fenders from one of these old trucks. I just installed new ones from classic parts. In fact, once I saw the price on the front fastener kit they sell I decided it wasn't worth cleaning up any of the old hardware. My local Ace hardware sells the J-nuts as well if you are in a hurry. I was surprised to see they had the "body bolts" & weld nuts and few other fasteners I wouldn't have thought to look for there as well.

You can get those at pretty much any Napa store.

I do recommend running a correct size tap thru them before installation. Saves a lot of words the wife and kidz need not hear.

Note. I always support and use the Vendors on the Forum, but I also have my local sources for individual items needed,
If you need them quick, NAPA has them, in assorted sizes, in bags of 10.
I just bought some last week.
They also carry two sizes of Barrel clips, and other trim clips.

Re: What are these fender gizmotrons called?

The Auveco online catalog is helpful to ID some of these fasteners- they'll point you to a local distributor too, usually your local parts store. But a good reference nonetheless.

Personally in the future I will call them "Fender Gizmotrons". I like that name.
