Patc converters?
I am looking to get a converter for my 700r4. It is behind a 6.0 ls motor. Any one ever used them? Need a good converter for a little over 400 hp. Thanks.

Re: Patc converters?
No personal experience with them whatsoever but. When it comes to torque converters you stick good companies or you have trouble. Ati, Tci,Hughes would be the way I would go. Stay away from the B&M junk as well as the 100 dollar ebay specials etc.

Re: Patc converters?
ANY budget converter is a bad idea. Almost every manufacturer has more than one line of converters. My point is don't expect a 100 dollar summit or jegs special to live. Price shopping for torque converters is extremely expensive in he long run. You definitely get what you pay for.

Re: Patc converters?
I am probably going with circle d converters. Just cant make up my mind if it want a hole new drive train after the motor or just a good converter for my current 700r4. Been thinking about a 4l80e but I will need new transfer case and drive shaft modifying and computer programming.
