'62 3-door crew-cab (Railroad Truck)

I own a '62 3-door crew-cab, short bed, Fleet side, Chevy Truck. I'm looking for anyone that can provide any additional info on this type of trucks.
I've met several people (in particular from the Northwest, WA, ID, OR, etc.)and have been told that they were used for the Railroad and called "Crummy Trucks".
My 62 rides on a 1994 Fleetwood Cadillac frame and drive train.
Any additional info any members can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Crown or Stageway built 3-4 door Crew Cab trucks.
You can do a search upper right hand on these pages.
Also Orville Metal Specialty Company and the Crown Company.
I'm sure there are others.

WCSTORY,

I will post more pics soon. Brief History is that the Guy that built it was in the salvage / junk yard business and he had a '94 Fleetwood Cadi readily available.
Drives just like a short bed crew-Cady.

Very cool truck! How long have you had it? By chance, did you pick it up in Albuquerque? I remember seeing that truck (or one very similar) around here.
