I was looking at this truck yesterday. I carefully lined the camera up to get this picture wrong... twice. I guess it's not a double reflex lens, eh?

I wonder what the story is on that transport.

There was what looked like an old salvage yard behind a nice house in Springdale, AR that had that same set up sitting out back with 56 Chevys on it.

It sat there forever, the town grew around it, and one day the whole thing, yard and truck, disappeared. It's not likely it's the same one, but is sure is uncanny.

Maybe the transport truck you are talking of moved on to Little Flock Arkansas,, you think ?

Little Flock has become a major metropolitan center Larry. Rogers has grown to it. My oldest sister lives between Little flock and Rogers.

I met a Older guy than me in Pahrump Nevada a few years ago who was a lighting specialist for movies and he told me of him and John Wayne sitting on the tail gate of his truck drinking coffee and talking many times durring the filming of one or more of John Waynes movies he made..

Larrys, I think it's the same truck. I guess this guy bought it. I went with a friend down below Richmond, VA yesterday to the Keystone Tractor & Truck Museum. That guy has all the good stuff.

That's how I always did it when I was married*. She was fine with what I did with my toys that she knew about and we always had plenty other stuff to talk about already. It's not like she saw a rebuilt engine/trans/posi rear, new exhaust, suspension, steering, and tires. She'd say "You made it look better" or "It sounds nice" and I'd say "I got new wheels" or "Yep, $10 per horse. $10k! 1000hp!"... Er I mean "Changed the mufflers and tuned it... Honey."

*(I also maintained a very responsible family oriented master plan)

Your out of luck!!! The house or truck are for sale that's Marvin Harmons place in yarrowsburg he owns the realty company and has had that Shortbed for as long as I can remember I've tried many times to buy it!!
