I regretted getting out until my old army buddy told me what happened and why I stayed at his place they were going to straight up murder me. He had me at his apartment for a few weeks when I was still in. Last night we drank pretty good and we were talking and it randomly came up. I'm glad that I got out now. My lower back is messed up and legs hurt from long periods of standing and ptsd. I had plans on getting out can't do anything but hurt the meds are useless

It's good to put closure on things. Not knowing all the details it's hard to know exactly what happened, or almost happened, but the main thing is you got through it.

Yep it's not as bad it was like a cloud hanging over me. I couldn't believe it. All because someone has a mental breakdown after 2 friends to suicide then near the end of the month I walked in on a hanging and then a week or two later I couldn't keep it together and lost it tried to od cause I didn't have a weapon. I was on a dark road and the army wasn't trying to help so I nearly gave up. I kind of wonder what is my purpose or is it done.

First off, Thank you for your service. You stood up and offered to do something that a lot of people wouldn't(myselft included).

Everyone has a purpose. Sometimes we don't know what it is though. There is someone else that does though.

Try and surround yourself with people that care about you. It doesn't matter if they are family, freinds, or anybody. Just genuine people that care.

Only person I have that I can trust is my old army buddy. I can't trust family and my friends back home well they are not the best of friends at all the ones who get you in trouble or ones that use you.

Tempted to get another old 67 72 to keep occupied and broke instead of with the garbage pail female's that I some how find lol

Find something to take your mind off of things....exercise can help if your injuries can tolerate it.

As to "finding good women" they are out there, although my current one I had to go 12,000 miles one way to find. Certain things are worth the trip.
