What are your plans with the interior Dusty, are you going back with the utility buckets?

Re: Project OBS (Orange Blossom Special)

Yes going to use the factory seats. Mine are in great shape except for a big tear in the drivers bucket. They're original black vinyl. Will probably have them recovered because I'm not real interested in getting burned every time I sit in the thing.

Richard did I ever show you this photo (below)? That's a sheet metal from a Fruitland Savings Bank sign riveted into the floor.

Re: Project OBS (Orange Blossom Special)

Hit another road block. Took the trans in to get re-sealed and the guy said it's trashed and needs a rebuild. Going for a second opinion early next week. It never ends…

Re: Project OBS (Orange Blossom Special)

I have a TH350 and a 700r4 (the better shape of the two). I'd like to run the 700 for the overdrive, but it will require swapping output shafts and some other modifications.

Couldn't find anywhere tall enough. She's outside on the body cart, with a canvas cover and a tarp over her, tied down with straps. Fingers are crossed…

Re: Project OBS (Orange Blossom Special)

Not much progress lately Danny. Trying to get my hands on a portable carport I can set up in the driveway for the winter so I can put a heater in it and reassemble her over the winter. My friend rebuilt the TH350 trans yesterday and now I can get movin, assuming this hurricane doesn't damage the body…
