Free n Easy photo resizer

Alot of people don't know how to resize their photos, well Microsoft offers a free photo resizer for use with windows XP click here to get it:

http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe

download and run the program, it will install. Now to use it simply right click on the icon/thumbnail of the pic you want to resize and select resize photo.

The next step is to select the size you want to resize to

The program will then run and make a copy of the photo but it will be resized, your original photo will remain unchanged. If you look at the pic below you may notice that the smaller pic has teh size you selected as part of its name.

Hope this helps other people out!

Irfanview is free, and it is easy also. I've used it for 3 years now, almost daily, and wouldn't be without it. I have not looked at the one you are referring to, but I might check it out to see if it has as much to offer as Irfanview does. My first thoughts are, however, that if it is from Microsoft, it probably doesn't match up to Irfanview, but that's just a guess. An educated guess, LOL!

In looking back over your initial post, you show that it offers 3 sizes to choose from. Irfanview lets you resize infinitely (well, maybe not quite), using either measurements, percentage of original (+ or -), or pixels, as well as the format you wish to use, GIF, TIFF, jpeg, etc.
