Re: Project: Stella Mae

I would assume that he assumes that because you said one of them is for you, that you were going to use it on Hazel thus assuming that you would have Hazels frame available for sale ? Just guessing

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Yeah, Saturday afternoon is check-in time and it can cause traffic to back up all the way into Niceville sometimes. Small price to pay to live here though! Enjoy the family time, and let me know if you need help with anything, lived here a long time and my wife even longer, we can usually send you in the right direction.

Re: Project: Stella Mae

Hey Keith, saw on Hazel you had the fuel tank built. How much higher could the top of your tank be raised with your floor lifted to clear the c-notch? Thinking of getting the same tank with 3.5'' or 4'' added to the top.
Thanks
Mark

Give Dave or Nate a call and ask why you didn't get this part....they may have changed the design? If you like I can give them a call for you.

I have about 3-4 inches between the tank and the bed floor, I will have to measure for you to get an accurate number.

Thanks Kieth,

I sent them an e-mail late last week so I will wait patiently to see what they say.

Re: Project: Stella Mae

With the set up in the front of stella do you think 22 inch wheels would fit under the front? I have a future project in mind and I like the set up you have here but thinking of using a little bigger wheel.

Re: Project: Stella Mae

It all depends on the backspacing and the tire size. The tire I have on the front is 28" tall so if you stay close to that range it should work without any problems.
