AM/FM Radio

I used to have a name of a company that sold original radios, 8-tracks etc. for 60's, 70's cars and trucks. It was called Original Radio something or other. I think they were located east of the Mississippi. Does anybody have their name or website? I want to see about a Van AM/FM.

Thanks - Bob

Re: AM/FM Radio

Would that be http://www.originalcarradios.com/???

And over $100 bucks cheaper for a van vs. truck one!

Or it could have been http://www.antiqueautomobileradio.com/

Re: AM/FM Radio

Dang!! I have an AM/FM stereo radio, out of a late '60's Poncho. It is missing the stereo apparatus as shown on the top of those that are in the website. The multiplexer cord is still attached. I have wondered if it would be worth it to have it "redone" to use in my '69. When the website shows $450 bucks for a restored AM/FM Stereo for a Pontiac, without the multiplexer, I'm thinking I ought to just sell it and go for something else.

Re: AM/FM Radio

Putter - You are the MAN! It was the first listing. Repeat after me - originalcarradios, originalcarradios, originalcarradios.

Thanks again - Bob

Re: AM/FM Radio

I think those 'originalcarradio' guys are gone. Their website is still up, but their Email address has been dead for a while. Does anyone have a new one for them?

Re: AM/FM Radio

I finally heard from the 'origialcarradio' folks on Friday. Seems they have been in the process of moving. They are back, but it's taking them some time to return all the Emails they have received over the past few weeks.
