Truck and Car Shop-Don't buy Fuel Lines

Well I ordered the stainless steel fuel lines from T & C Shop. The line from the sending unit to outside the cab is not even close! I thought maybe the line was bent in shipping, but putting it up to the original line it is one inch shorter and won't even exit the cab at the floor. So I went to O'Reilly's and bought some fuel line already double flared, cut it to length and made my own line, which turned out better than the one T & C shop sent me. Now I'm looking at the line that runs along the frame, the line they sent me doesn't even look close. I'm gonna pull the original line and if the new one doesn't fit I hope I can take it back. This kit cost $44 and there was a $36 shipping and handling charge.
Had I just gone to O'Reilly's and bought some of their 3/8" steel fuel line I could've made me a set for less than half the price. Lesson learned!

On a side note, what ticks me off the most is that they never called to inform me about the shipping charge. When I e-mailed them, they never responded. I was ready to cancel my order, but lo and behold the package showed up at my door.

Waste of time and money!

This fuel line kit is garbage! Just say no and stay away from this fuel line kit!

UPDATE: The fuel line that runs along the frame is not even close.

Here's the pics I promised.

First pic shows how short the line is. The line bends before it exits the cab floor.




This one shows the frame rail line, way too short with multiple bends compared to the stock line.




Side-view showing unnecessary bends and bends in the wrong places in the new line. You can also see how much shorter the new line is compared to the original.
