Post Pigeon Forge roll call

OK gang, who all is goin' to be making the trip to The GMC/Chevy Truck Nationals in beautiful Pigeon Forge Tenn. They are the 3-4-5 of May.The NSRA nats are in Knoxville Tenn. the same weekend.
My Uncle Sam got into my truck budget so I won't be bringing LIZ but I really enjoy meeting the BB members and looking at the cool trucks.
Since I won't be entering a truck I was hoping someone else would be and would possibly have an awning they would share some shade. My wife will go but isn't happy sitting in the sun.
Let me know if you are going and we can set a meeting spot.

Wife and I will arrive on the evening of the 3rd. Can't wait, I'm like a little kid wishing for Christmas to hurry up and get here. This is our first time there, will there be many vendors?

Usually are quite a few vendors though not many were up to the standards most of the vendors on this board set. There were quite a few 67-72 vendors and probably 8 or so BB members last year.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Who is going to take pictures of all the '67 - '72 trucks and post them for those of us that are just too far away to even consider the trip?

Count me and Mrs Da-burb in. We will also have Andy and his wife, along with his 72 K-10 burb.

Deland, after last years heat I GOT A TENT THING SO WE CAN SIT IN THE SHADE! Just have to remember to put it in the burb.

I will have my digital camera with stllookn. It can only hold 325 pictures before the flash card is full. Hope that will be enough to hold you.

I will be going up on Thursday to get the trailer in and get my canopies up. I have a 10x20 and a 10x10 that we can sit under and if somebody wants to bring one I am sure we can make some room. Since I will be on the inside everybody will not have to go to the parking lot.

Is there a web site where there is some info about this show? I checked on the Pigeon Forge events web site, and they don't have the show listed. I've been planning on attending this show for 6 months. My wife wants to make other plans, because she says that there isn't a Chevy Truck show scheduled in Pigeon Forge. Someone help me out here. Where can I get info about this show? Thanks.

k'ville 71.. there is a Chevrolet & GMC show May 3,4,5 at Governors Palace Theatre at Governors Crossing. This is actually Sevierville but most folks still call it Pigeon Forge. I will be there as well as most folks in this thread. Sounds like wifey is not real excited about it. For motel info call 800-523-3919

Tennman,I think Race has used up his fun tickets(US Greenbacks, dead Presidents or whatever you call them) buying a home.I know he would like to be there again and I wish we all could get there more than once a year. I hope we get a picture of about 20-30 or more members this year.We gotta beat last years 8 or was it 9?
Looking forward to seeing as many of the members as can make it.
