Was watching an episode of cops......

and they were showing a Rain Storm and swolled creek in So Cal.
The owner of this Truck almost drowned trying to drive it to high ground.
Then went back a 2nd time to try and save it and almost was killed again.
He was gonna a go back a 3rd time, till the officer said..."No old Truck is worth risking your life for".

I thought..."Old Truck"???
Thats a piece of History.
Were that MY Truck, they'd have to shackle me down!!!

You guys wouldn't die for your truck?HUH! And I thought we had dedicated truck junkies on this site. Old truck my eye. That cop should be cited for verbal abuse.
If it didn't get worse,I'm sure it would drive right out of there. It's a CHEVY!!

That "old truck" can still be cleaned up and repaired once the water goes down. I have done a couple of dryouts on vehicles that were more submerged than that one.

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

I would love to have a truck wench. I just have a regular wench, and there's no way she'd wade out in a flood to save my truck.
