Re: pics of lwb trucks lowered or bagged

IvelDesigns, I can't even tell your truck is LWB in the pic. it looks super clean!

I have a LWB 3/4 ton & i can't decide if i want to bag it or not because it is so big.

Re: pics of lwb trucks lowered or bagged

How about a GMC? 1 pic with 18's, 1 pic with 20's. Keep in mind that it still has the leaf springs in the rear, it is bagged in the front, until this spring and then it will be on a Chevy frame.

Re: pics of lwb trucks lowered or bagged

i was kinda asking the question at the same time, the crossmember in my lwb hangs below the frame rails, does yours not, hope i did not waste my money on the crossmember, for one i have to figure out the carrier bearing and two thats alot of rivets, maybe someone else will jump in and help us both out with our questions, any help would be great thanks

Z-ing is no small thing, man! Not for the weak of heart, requires all kinds of math and mods with stearing, body, etc. Drop member solves all of that.

Here's my 4.5/6 LWB:

Re: pics of lwb trucks lowered or bagged

Here is mine. 1967 C-20 lowered 2/4 with drop springs. I am running 265/70/r17's which are close to rubbing in a couple places. Since I didn't do drop spindles I had to trim my bump stops so I would have more than 2 inches of suspension travel.

And for what it is worth, my house is no longer pink. I remedied that problem as quickly as I could.

17x9w/5bs in the rear, 17x9w/4bs front, 275/55/17 rear, 255/50/17 front. Wish I would have skipped the chrome, done silver and installed the vette rings and cap, but I still like them.

Your truck is gorgeous, I love the stance. I have a 1970 gmc Sierra Grande, I would like to do the same. What company and system did you use. How was the alignment and are there any issues that you encountered that would help me with my planned lowering of my truck. ?
Any thing would help, Thanks.
