Anyone try this radiator in the LS swap? I am looking for feed back on engine and trans cooling.

Thanks

It's going in my 67 c10. I wasn't sure it would be able to keep this combo cool. The stock radiator out of the Cadillac is 34"x17" with 7 plate trans cooler and oil cooler.

I wanted a rad that fit or fit with minimal modification in the 67 but was big enough to keep everything cool.

The biggest rad I could find was 28"x17" with 5 plate trans cooler. I think it will work since the 67 is half the weight as the Cadillac. I won't be running an oil cool and no a/c.

Do you have a part # for the electric fan set you used?

Thanks

I dont remember the numbers..its been about 10yrs ago...it was the biggest dual fan setup I could get that would cover the radiator..got it from summit....the stock size radiator should be fine ..I pull a trailer that grosses over 9500lbs all the time ..even in 95deg weather I have no issues with it overheating....runs consistant at around 185deg...my truck came with a smallblock and I just picked up a replacement from oreillys...its the wide single core aluminum...
