yep but this polish also has a whole lot better reputation in the efi world for the kit so far .

talked with 1/2 a dozen guys with it and love it . 1 guy has just 120 miles on it aand already at 12 mpg and its still learning . the same guy also said he should have just skipped fitech and sniper and went straight for the edelbrock pro flo 4 from the start .

my kit cost 100 extra to get the tablet for it as i dont have tablets or smart phones.

just got all my little parts the other day i ordered here and there from planning in my head . prob wont be for a week or so till get get time .

i been working on a build project . stock to wild kind of thing . before and current pic . bone stock ex-military/ex-cop/ex-gov public use vehicle to now 7" lift on ton axles and 37" tires .

still got a lot to do yet . sbc400/nv4500/205 twin sticked all going in yet . swap hydro pedals in . wire it up and fire it up . then rear driveshaft looking like a c/v shaft build.

Twin stick off a 4500/205 eh? I recently pulled the twin sticks off my 4500/205 setup cause I thought I was going with a 4l80 setup. Called ORD, they said take it off, send it back and they would send me a new one for th400/4l80. The new one is a floor mount, which I love because it works with any setup because it doesn't mount directly to the trans/T-case. ORD is awesome!

this rig has about all it can get from ORD on it for the mods and beef up parts in the budget .

steering box bolt in brace
twin stick kit
braided brake lines
4" shackle flip kit
HD-front shackles
master poly greasable bushing kit for front leafs / rear leafs /shackles both ends
zero rates in the front and axle forward 1.5" to help clear firewall area
crossover steering kit
rear shock brace kit to keep from braking the frame and mounts
i am sure there is more i forgot .

then 3/8" thick plate diff covers from ruffstuff and diy4x for the 60 front and 14ff rear

diy4x front and rear u-bolt spring plates
ubolt flip in rear with the diy4x plates

custom 6061 aluminum 1.5" body lift

4" tuff country hd front springs with ORD zero rate .
22-547 stock replacment 56" springs rear with few leafs pulled for softer ride and 4" ORD flip kit .
ford shock towers front and longer shocks all 4 yellow monroe shocks

Nice 4x4 Swap... Like Michigan Rust & Salt man. Redoing my 82 K10 diesel over here 152K miles and the bed, doors fenders all rusted out but I bought a $550 82 C20 parts truck I'm taking off the Fenders on it and Possibly the bed. But I'm going Completely Stock on mine.

setup wizard wont load a tune . and another guy has same exact problem . there looking in to it now .

but i got around it and loaded a tune . got it fired off and had a solid miss on a cylinder . checked every thing . . . .

then today here is the copy paste from the other post on my other site i hang at more .

long story short and tail between my leg's problem with skip was 6-8 wire swap some how in the wires that were labeled and clipped together and looked correct but were not at the engine end . my buddy showed up this morning before i got in the shop and looked it over again fresh eye point of view and found it .

so drum roll please ............................................. WOW is this kit so much better than the sniper from holley ever was . i have maybe 20 miles on it this morning and the truck fires off better / runs better / fells better / drives better / smells better / just hands down better system 200% so far .

stopped at a friends place on the test drive this morning and he even said this thing don't smell rich anymore like the sniper did at idle with 400-500 miles on it .

my buddy was riding with me and watching the tablet full data screen and he said its almost like looking at his big snap-on scanner for live data . said my short term fuel and long term fuel are great already and within 1-2 points of each other . got my iac down to 9-11% when warm and my 700 rpm idle target is about spot on all the time . even in gear stopped foot on the brake its smooth . coming to a stop its smooth unlike the sniper catching its self all the time . and my foot pedal pressure is 98% gone even with there TB spring and my big return spring its light as a feather . i even had to re adjust my gas pedal th400 kick down switch by removing a chunk of rubber hose as it was now limiting my throttle from the previous sniper setup with its 7/8" linkage spacer i made .

THE EDELBROCK PRO FLO 4 IS OUT OF THE BOX BETTER ! ! !

and if you get emi interferance you got problems . we just tossed my wiring under the hood laying all over stuff including plug wires and the computer is laying on the hvac box loose and it runs this good . unlike a holley with emi problems on a lot of there stuff .

and front axle is 1.5" forward with crossover steering so no problems there . and rear is now 1" back for a more centered look . also took out the #5 and #8 leaf from the 8 leaf 56" long spring packs and it dropped it just over 1" in the rear and much softer now .

Glad to see and hear this system worked out. My wife and I are going to the nostalgia drags in Bakersfield next month. The last time I was there, Edelbrock had a huge trailer and selling parts. I might look into buying this kit there. With any luck, they might have a show special on the pricing

she has been doing real good . smoother running / starting / pedal push is almost not even there compared to sniper unit and my foot / ankle thanks me for it .

she is still learning and i have tweeked just 2-3 tiny things 1-2 points is all other than that rock solid .

and i got my new sticker today

I've been doing constant research on the aftermarket EFI choices & the Edelbrock ProFlo4 has been shining above the other options based off of what the 'kit' comes with. When you see how it's a package, it's seems leaps better vs. piecing a TBI kit that has the ECU bonded internally to the TB housing . . ..... that sits directly above a hot engine. That alone always seemed sketchy & asking for a minimal service life.

That being said, how's it treating you?
MPG's improve any?

purring great / smooth running / atleast 2x the fuel mileage of the sniper ever was .

my wiring and cumputer are still no problems and working as they were installed .

playing with the tablet for changes is 1,000x better over the tiny screen of the sniper unit since edelbrock is 7" screen and NO cord to limit you and all changes are 100% instant no load / down load / key off/on reboot crap .
