Merry Christmas to All & a Question

Wow, 19 years since I joined and have loved the journey from getting info and help with things and meeting a few of you in person. Does anyone know where I could buy a decal like this, this ones on a 55 Chevy, as I've hunted a few vendors websites and lots of decals but nothing like this.

Re: Merry Christmas to All & a Question

there's one similiar, not exact on the long quarter panel window on my 67 Impala wagon.seems to me early 60's were one style and later on,they changed it a little.either way i have bought them in the past from Jim Osborn Reproductions in Lawrenceville,Georgia.

Re: Merry Christmas to All & a Question

from the replies so far, it looks possible that is not the correct decal for that year..

looking for some tri-five specific and found this;
https://www.woodyshotrodz.com/AC-win...n-366c-020.htm

Description

This "Air Conditioned" decal is the window decal that told the world you had air conditioning in your classic. A must for any 100 point restoration.

Trust the Tri-Five Experts for all your 1955, 1956 & 1957 Chevy Parts.

my apologies this is the most recent Osborn catalog I have but shouldn't affect the 50's models

in case my pointer looks familiar - it's a broken M2HB firing pin

and I found the same Osborn DC47 decal part number at Classic that matches the same image from the old catalog and other online references..

https://www.classicindustries.com/pr...arts/dc47.html

hope that helps - good luck!

Merry Christmas! I have bought them at swap meets. I haven't bought one in over 30 years.

Re: Merry Christmas to All & a Question

The one I showed in the barn window is faded out, but is the same as the one you showed. That's the original decal for 62-65. both styles were blue bowties. I always liked those stickers along with these:

Name: s-l1600 (1).jpg
Views: 145
Size: 54.2 KB
Name: 99007-4.jpg
Views: 143
Size: 15.7 KB

Ed Roth made these stickers. They kind of go with the a/c sticker
