WTB: 1970 only transfer case shifter Boot Retainer Ring

I've found and bought both rings so I'm good to go...Thanks.

Hi guys. I need the flat style TC shift boot retainer ring (circled on the right of the borrowed pic). It is the 1970 only version. The 71/72 version on the left has a cupped profile. Looking for best possible condition.

Also looking for a 4sp boot ring as well.

Hopefully someone out there has a nice spare they're willing to part with.

Thanks,

Brad

Re: WTB: 1970 only transfer case shifter Boot Retainer Ring

Thank you for posting. Definitely want to find nice OE examples. So, the reproduction is not for me. With regard to the other ring, I'll pass for now. My truck is a 4WD so I'd like to find an unbent example.

If this thread comes up empty I may consider straightening one out and will circle back to you, but for now I'll just hold out hope that a nice original flat one pops up.

I don't have the 4x4 ring, but I have this 4-speed ring. Surface rust only; it is solid. $15 shipped

I'll take it to have one in hand. PM sent.

I am still open to someone popping in with a cleaner example...so the thread is still open to the best examples I can find of 4x4 4sp boot ring and 1970 only transfer case boot ring.

Ring got here today John. Thanks. And I scored another nice 4sp example. So I'm set on that one.

Still definitely on the hunt for the 1970 only Transfer Case Boot Ring. Hoping one pops up.

I texted Dwayne before I posted the thread. He's always a great help. I didn't take the chrome one he had because I wanted to be able to see the little maker's mark on them. Thanks for the thought though.
