There sure are some smart idiots out there.

If it were me I'd get four friends with skateboards, set each leg on a board, they could hang on to it so they can't fall, and just tow them with a rope! I'm such a genius

Saw this guy at Home Depot last week. As I'm going out, two HD guys were walking in saying "That guy needs a new trailer" and "the wheels were leaning out like this". So there is this bozo outside, blocking any passage out of the loading area, looking at his situation.

He gets the HD cart guy to help him move every bundle off the pallet snd place forward. What you do, and I'm surprised no one knew this, is you take an empty pallet and set it behind the full one and push it forward over the axle. But that's too much for that trailer. He had some sort of decorative rail in the bed of his truck. If he really had to have all that there, he could have pulled on the side of the building, unhooked the trailer, loaded the rail on that, and load the shingles into the truck. Just rookyism all over. Ext can short bed 1/2t for a work truck, lightweight cheezy trailer, not knowing what a load a full pallet of shingles weighs, and just not knowing what the truck can handle. Maybe this was not the load to be combining trips on. I don't see how iron rail and shingles relate. He had other stuff on the trailer as well.

Re: Post your WTHeck? Pictures

Doing a little deck work. Digging for a post, hit something. Keep digging to remove "rock". Turns out someone used two old water heaters for fill! More digging exposed these! The wife wanted me to turn one of them into a planter. Out comes the Makita and away I go. As I post, she is outside right now putting plants in her "new" planter! I do think the riveted tanks are cool.

I spent six years of my spare time going to auctions looking for one of those. Finally found one in an antique shop for $300. Yours is in better shape

Ha ha, wait 'till he learns that he just turned $600 worth of antiques into a yard planter!

This may be true, but I bet some Bay Area decorator would pay big bucks to get their hands on this "unique, quirky, Kale planting system". On a side note, strange that the PO buried these in their final resting place, only to be unearthed, and now will spend eternity above ground, filled with dirt!
