I was thinking all aluminum with twin 1500hp Cat diesels. "oooo-weee stitch jones"

Pretty cool story on John Duncan Bulkeley who received the Medal of Honor for actions in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was also the PT boat skipper who evacuated General Douglas MacArthur from Corregidor in the Philippines. - https://navy.togetherweserved.com/us...ewsletter.html
I met him when he inspected my machinery spaces on the USS Kitty Hawk. He stated that looking at these spaces it's hard to believe the age of this ship. I was kind of proud of that.
