That's awesome! Congrats. My wife and I are expecting our 2nd one in 6 weeks.

Hurry up and get that blazer knocked out....in my experience the little ones love cruising in a Blazer.

Hey Buck I have been off line a little while and just noticed your post, I started smoothing up the block and heads with roloc discs [60g, 100g] then used paper roll cartridges [60g, 100g] for rounded areas and hard to reach areas. Deburring tool and grinder for really bad stuff. Then epoxy and paint ,clear. Same process for the water pump and intake but a round of primer and some 320g to get an even better and smooth surface before epoxy, paint and clear. Hope this helps, it's a long weekend process but the results are great.

Wasted Income that's an awesome pic of the little one in the back seat crashed out, and congrats on the new little on the way, it's always good to have extra shop helpers.

Re: New life for a forgotten K5

Put in a little time in on the blazer this past weekend, I got the valve covers blocked and ready for second prime, and did some cutting on the firewall for the smoothing process.
