Name this harness...... - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I bought this with knowing its some type of lighting harness from a K5. Thing is I’m using a square body harness in a 72 crew so I’m curious as to the original function of this as I can’t imagine where these lights would go. Also the connections I have circled and a diode for what purpose I have no idea, any helpful info would be appreciated.

quick guess factory 4wd indicator light harness for 4wd in/out on a square body . if not then i got no clue .

second quess after looking a bit more .i dont think 4wd system . ,

maybe it was a diesel and it was the water in fuel / wait to start setup . reason i think is firewall big pass threw rubber plug on the 1 wire . but i dont play with 6.2 stuff i wouldnt know for sure .

You may be onto something about the diesel which would explain the single light. So I’ve got one more, I believe rear heat or a/c, I know it came from a burb and 1 connector matches a switch but the one circled I have no clue as to what it went to
