Cab Corner and rocker treatments

Winters in Northern United States can be tough on vehicles as far as corrosion. I have a 1999 Ford extended Econoline van that I purchased in 2000 I used it to travel up and down the East Coast all winter to different shows to sell product. Every year I would dump metal prep down inside all the welds inside the doors the wheel arches and where the floor met the body. These are all the areas that these vans would rust. It's 20 years later and areas are still intact. I've been testing some Rust converters and I have to say that I'm impressed with some of the tests I've done. So two things to keep your vehicle intact if you live in the northern region. Treat your welded seams , and run it through a carwash on a regular basis to get the salt off. This is easier than replacing panels. Good luck and Happy New Year
