WTB 60-66 Factory AM Radio

Looking for a factory AM radio for my 64 C10. Needs to be decent cosmetically, but doesn't necessarily need to work as I'm planning to send it out for a modern AM/FM conversion anyway.

If his falls through, I've got one too.
I'll bring it to the NE GA Swap Meet on Jan 4 if you want to see it in person.

If I can get the one Brad has, that will save shipping. I'm still very appreciative you offered to help, thanks again.

Not to cut in on someone else’s thread. If he passes on your radio I would be interested.

Re: WTB 60-66 Factory AM Radio

I made a deal with Brad54 to buy his radio. Put jweb to the front of the line for LostMy65's radio if that works for everyone.

Thanks again for all who responded and offered to help.

Re: WTB 60-66 Factory AM Radio

I knew I paid over $100 for it, but I guess I paid $144.
I haven't had time to look for it, but I doubt anyone is going to want to pay what I paid for it.

Re: WTB 60-66 Factory AM Radio

Lostmy65, I’m sure it’s a nice radio but I don’t want anything too nice for my Suburban.
Thanks for following up.

MIKEN Where did you send your radio for AM FM conversion?

Do you have it back and installed yet?

Re: WTB 60-66 Factory AM Radio

I sent it out to Gary at Tayman Electrical...

http://www.taymanelectrical.com/

I do have it back, and it looks great, but haven't installed it yet. Hoping to finish it up this weekend.

I sent the factory AM radio from my 65 Impala to Gary last year, and I'm very satisfied. Works and sounds great. I can play AM, FM, play my iPod through it, my son plays his portable CD player through it, etc.
