03-07 Shop Truck

That's right, the real deal. The black SWB is really cool, hand lettering and all. It belongs to the business that repaired a compressor of mine, family run business on second generation. I told the guy let me know when you decide to sell

Re: 03-07 Shop Truck

That's kind of a neat little rig.
The regular cab SWB truck is unusual in the T800 chassis.

Re: 03-07 Shop Truck

I always wanted one. I hit it off real good with the owner, who is about my age. His dad started the business but has passed on. He sure knows about all types of compressors, paint equipment, and designing shop air systems. If I bought it's I'd fix it up leaving paint be as much as possible. I'm one who actually hated that front end and now prefer it to before or after.

Pretty neat truck; keep it that way or tidy it up a bit, with some lowering. Win, either way.

T800 chassis??? is that 4 wheel drive??? Sorry, never heard that term, BUT I'm used to reading about the older stuff.

I do own a 2005 1/2 ton Silverado, 2Wd. 160,000 miles. It's awesome!!! A good friend bought it new.

The T800 chassis was the 1999-2007 pickup trucks https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GMT800
The predecessor was the T400 chassis... 1988-1998 & 1999-2000 classic models
The sucessor was the T900 pickups built between 2007-2014

The 5th VIN digit used to be 2wd=C 4wd=K so a 4wd 3/4 ton is a K2500
Here's a VIN card of sorts from LMC https://media.lmctruck.com/Catalog_C...Chassis_ID.pdf

Re: 03-07 Shop Truck

I’m always looking for a clean single cab short bed 2wd.
They’re all rusty here in Missouri.

Always really liked the "cat eye" body style. They seemed to get a lot of hate when they first came out.
