Re: The 1973 El Coolmino...

I have never seen a 73 camino.
That looks Nice
If there is anyway you can keep it You should.
You will always regret letting it go.
But like you said Life sometimes has other plans.

I hope good luck turns this situation around for you.

Not just a 73 El Camino but a 4x4 73 El Camino.

Life is what happens when you are making plans to do something else. Not sure who said that first but it really is true.

I'd still have my 1970 CST and 1979 CJ7 if that were not the case.

I always wanted a 4x4 El Camino. That thing is Bad to the Bone. I'd drive it around with the windows down and AC/DC screamin' out the stereo, slidin' sideways around every corner!
Nice rig.

Re: The 1973 El Coolmino...

Even post-muscle car era vehicles are commanding pretty crazy prices nationwide. What I bought for 1800 20 years ago, is 9k now. I can't even find any decent 73-76 A-bodies without spending more than 5k, and 20 years ago those were all "junk."

If you can, I say keep it. That is, unless you're ready to get out of the 4x4 world or want to go a different direction entirely. I kick myself for selling both of my 70 Buicks, since I'm now on the hunt for another A-Body coupe.

I get needing to sell it though, or that it just isn't of interest to you anymore. Its just getting super hard to replace them these days, if you did want to revisit it again.

Side note, I think I've told you that before, but that thing looks like the perfect camp/woods road runner to me! What a riot.
