s10 swap

I am in the beging stages of a 53 GMC swap to a s10 frame. I am lucky enough to already have a 1991 S10 with a 4.3. I was wondering for those that are running the 4.3 if they kept the TBI set up. If so is there anything I should be planning for ahead of time.
I have also read that the ZQ8 sterring box is a good up grade. From what I have found the ZQ8 is 3 turns to lock. Though one from a GN is only 2.5. I was wondering why this does not seem very popular.
My 53 is all so in need of a box. If any one knows where I might find one or the apporx cost I may be looking at?

Any help would be great.
