1694AA Parchment Trim

My 71 Jimmy lists this on the id tag on the glovebox door. Is "trim" used to describe the interior (ie seats, dash pad, carpet, sunvisors etc)? Also, what exactly is parchment? None of the brochures show color combos that I've found. I'm thinking it's a tan color. If it matters the outside was medium olive green. The interior is pretty much none existant or what's left is black now.

Trim is the vinyl and/or plastic interior components such as door panels, arm rests, dash pad, seats and sun visors.

Parchment is white or off-white if you will. Saddle is the tan

My blazer has the same combo. I have off-white seats, visors and door panels. The dash pad, steering column and top of dash are all painted Sandalwood, which is a lighter tan than Saddle. I have the rubber flooring so I don't know what color the carpet would be. There is a code on the rubber flooring for Parchment (along with several other) but the rubber flooring is black.

Thanks guys, that explains alot. The off white is fine but gets dirty too quickly for me, especially with an open top vehicle. If it had been tan originally I would have considered keeping it that way, I think the green and tan looks good and tan doesn't get dirty quiet as fast as the off white. Sooo, looks like black will be the color for me.

My Jimmy has the same colors and it has dark gold carpet in the glove box it has that it came with gold trim and it has a paint # for the steering column and the top of the dash. When I bought a new steering wheel I had to paint it because the color was so fare off. I used the paint on the steering column and wheel and top of dash and it came out nice.

Pictures would be good!

I haven't ever seen reproduction parts in the Sandalwood color. Mothertruckers had some dash pads a while back, but I didn't have the $ at the time.
