Blazer rear quarters

Has anybody recently used a reproduction rear quarter on a Blazer? How was the fit and any problems. I know some of the earlier ones had issues. Thanks

Re: Blazer rear quarters

Not sure this helps but here’s one that was partially reassembled using new rear quarters http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=803514

Maybe the member who assembled can let you know how they fit.

Re: Blazer rear quarters

I bought the quarters from Southern Kentucky Classics and they fit very nice! I was very happy with them.

Re: Blazer rear quarters

I have one concern for the rear quarters - and that is the B-pillar/lower quarter body line.

The OEM panels are parallel with the rocker. On some of the aftermarket quarters - the b-pillar area slopes upward and is not parallel to the ground. This is not consistent for all panels though.

Added photos for reference: One with highlighting - one without)

Note the lower metal path is all aligned between front fender, outer rocker and the front part of the quarter. In some cases the front part of the quarter (red boxed area) angles upward. If you take an L-Square and lay it across the gap from rocker to rear quarter - this will be evident.
