Re: 4.3 distributor question

Not much on the back of the motor. But front is a different story.

Re: 4.3 distributor question

93 C/K engine into a 92 S/T truck? Both are 4.3 throttle body injected? Or did the S10 originally have a CPI system? TBI is a VIN code "Z" while CPI is a "W". 8th digit of VIN

Re: 4.3 distributor question

Only difference tween the S/T 4.3 and the C/K 4.3 is the exhaust manifolds, they fit in closer to the block on the S truck. The ACC drive is the same as well because I've swapped both ways when I had a lot of spare parts, I used to rebuild both the small and big trucks from wrecked and had probably 30 or so S trucks on hand for salvage and tried to keep around 15 to 20 full sized for salvage at the same time. They are almost all gone now as I used up a bunch of the parts and crushed the rest[I built like 15 trucks in a row without buying outside parts other than windshields]. Trucks are way too high to have salvage like that laying around now. Jim
