1996 4.3 intake manifold gkt. replacement

found a few links on here about replacement, any one have any tips or know of any other good links? read you can replace just lowers so you dont have to mess with spider injection any help would be great, thanks

yes, you can do just the lower but you are missing the chance to get ahead of the game on vacuum leaks. FelPro sells the kit with upper stuff included for a reason. Get the ones that have a part number ending with "T" as they have the metal frame gasket. Check surface around coolant ports for pitting and get machined if it's excessive.

thanks for the reply,got the felpro kit replaced maniflod gaskets, still had a leak, turns out it was upper hose, but the gaskets did look pretty bad so at least i have piece of mind
