Re: 1350 Drive Shaft

Richard, thanks for the input. It is the information I was hoping for, actual real life operating angles. I ordered the double cardan shaft from the local builder and I'll pick it up at the end of next week (its $190 less than Tom Woods). I also had a new rear shaft made. I installed an NV4500 earlier this year and moved my engine forward to make room for the shifter. I had to move my transfer case forward a slight amount to clear the twin sticks for that also, which led to the new shafts (about 1.5" difference). I'll update when I get them. Everybody likes pics so here you go, shifters in the right place after engine/transfer case move.

Re: 1350 Drive Shaft

Ok got the new 1350 shafts. We'll see if they fit, Ive got a 3" exhaust going over the transfer case. I don't think I'll have any problem with clearance to the five speed. Without any rework the CV flex is about 28 degrees. A little time with a die grinder on the sharp edges should get that to 30. Picture time....enjoy.
