Here is my truck when it was bone stock. 1972 C-10 307 V-8 3 on the tree transmission. No power steering or power brakes and no radio. It does have front disc tho.

It is still used to haul and tow trailers where ever I need them. I'm going to fix her up someday............NOT!!!

I have a 72 lwb cheyenne super 402 /400 air,tilt,cruise,ps,pb,rear leaf,it was somewhat torn apart,trying to resurrect needing more info on engine vacuum routing.will post some pics as soon as it gets daylight.

My 71 is no where near stock. I like looking at these trucks but to drive one everyday would be a chore in itself. They are cool though! Looking at these trucks I have noticed not one dash with a tach in it. I wonder how many 1/2, 3/4 tons came with a true tack dash, even more rare a speed warning dash with tach, like I have!

Why would it be a chore to drive one of these trucks bone stock? Both of mine drive as well as many modern vehicles, but mine have PS, PB, A/C, etc...

Both of my Chevys originally came with tachometers.

Another beautiful example Kweetech, your truck looks showroom..Many people confuse "stock" with "base model". Stock can be a loaded down high option truck, and it can also be a plain jane type truck.As long as it is all factory equipment.A base model is the standard truck with no extra cost items. However, a base model could easily have a few nice options. Kweetech green 67, looks like it is a no option vehicle, but it has a 283 and optional below eye line bus mirrors.Ilike72's green shortbed looks like a base model , but is was optioned with a 4 speed and 16" wheels.The point is,you could have optioned air conditioning and power steering on base model with white bumpers and hubcaps.

Well for one I like a/c, ps pb all the options. When I said stock I meant one like mine when I bought it plain with nothing but front disc.
It didn't even have power brakes. Now it has everything.
As far as the tach dash I have never seen one listed on the sheet except for the ones people do there self. Again as mine is. I haven't seen anything that says a truck in a 1/2, 3/4 ton had them. I'm sure as many of you know there are a lot of them on here but I wonder how many came out in 67,68,69,70,71 and 72 with a tach. If you have something that shows it great, other than the glove box I hope.

A lot can be learned from SPIDs. This is a big block 3/4 ton that normally would have came with a 3.54 ratio, with no ratio code on spid. Because it has the optional axle, the spid shows the 4.10 ratio option.

I kinda wish it had the 3.54 Dana, but it accelerates very well for a stocker with the 4.10's..

Pics of my "restored" stock 72 K10 cleaned up: Stock 4x4 w/3:08 rears, factory tilt,a/c, /AM/FM,ps/pb,tach, etc. 350 auto NP205. Daily driver but not in winter/salt .

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811.
