I figured i start a build thread finally. I have had this truck about three years and have just used it and maintained it. One of my buddies wanted my chevy grill in trade for his gmc, so i traded him a week or so ago and it has started the old domino effect and how i am wanting to make this a build actually.

Ill start with a few pics from a few years ago when i decided to debadge it. then theres some pics with the new grill. then i oredered hid headlights and blacked out some other lights.

Eventually i am gonna put probably a 2-4 drop, tonneau cover, and i am thinking 17 inch ralleys.

Ill keep this updated as i go, but it will be a little slow.

Installed my clear corners and billet grille tonight. I also ordered clear running lights.

Today i got my lowering kit in, and will hopefully be installing it in about 2 weeks. Also got my clear signal idicators installed.

Got it lowered today. Gonna do shocks tomorrow and a alignment on monday. I must say it went pretty smooth not big headaches.

haha ya thanks k5hart. Its not as low as alot of peoples but i think it looks real good.

I am going to pick up a set of 454 ss chrome wheels tomorrow to put on it.

Well christmas was good to the 97 this year. My brother whos always had chrome wheels on all his vehicles, has been saying to me i need to get some chrome wheels on my 97, I told him i like my ralleys.

Well long story short he found a old man who was selling 5 wheels for a chevy truck for 125 bucks that where chrome. He surprised me on christmas with them. I have always loved the ss wheels but everytime i find them people want about 300 for 4, so i think he did pretty good.

I am gonna mount them tomorrow and ill post some pictures.
