Re: Pics of my new 15X8 and 15X10 "Vette" rallys

Looks just like my 2/4 drop, on the original poster's truck. I'm running the same wheels, too. Got 245-60's up front and 275-60's out back. I'm running the hod rod trim rings, which leave a painted lip between the trim ring and the tire, plus the police caps. If you have swapped to disc brakes, as I have, you may find that the grease cap on the front hub is easily contacted by the smooth police cap.....so, I'm gonna go with the '67 disc brake style of cap. I wish I had known it could be an issue, but I didn't, so gotta spend another $140+ with Summit. But, the free shipping is good, huh?

hey Don. Welcome back. Could you not use some thin spacers to move the wheel out enough to make the police cap clear the dust cap? I have discs on mine and would want to use the police cap like you guys.

Do you know the inside diameter of your caps? I just bought these off of Ebay and thet did not fit my 6 lug ralleys? Mine take the same as as the original 14 & 15" car ralleys. The guy told me sorry about my luck even though he advertised them to fit. Now he says there for the chrome ones??? Oh Well I guess I'll put dog food in them and feed my dogs...

Re: Pics of my new 15X8 and 15X10 "Vette" rallys

I had these caps on a front disc setup and there was NO interference.

remember, these caps were use on 68-69 police Impalas, Biscaynes. they had all the "new" safety devices on them like disc brakes. so I believe they should fit most Corvette rallyes. what the difference may be is that the truck rotor has a longer nose???

Yes, or the opening of the wheel dia. that accepts the cap?

The Caps I bought are 7 1/2" dia and I need 7" Dia!
