Re: C20 lowered pictures

The burb had dropped spindles, 2600 lb. bags,c-ed rear frame, 2 in. blocks in the rear,225-60-16 tires in front, 285-65-16 in the rear. I had that burb about 7 years with no problems of use almost every day.

Re: C20 lowered pictures

Looks SICK. what air management did you use. Did you use stock control arms. Any alignment issues in the front? Do you think I could get away with no c notch or a half c notch? I want to tow my camper with it. I have a 6.0 with Cts v supercharger and cts v heads with big fat cam going in mine with a th400 and a gear vendors overdrive

Re: C20 lowered pictures

I do love me some C20/C30's. I own and have owned many of them. The only problem with them especially lowered are the awful wheels. Slotted mags or steelies help but I sure wish there was something out there worth putting on them!

Re: C20 lowered pictures

Juddss, I used stock control arms, no alignment issues. I think you will need a full c notch, but in towing loaded 24 ft enclosed trailers, I never did get down on the rear snubbers. You may have to trim a litlle on the back of the control arm for the lower ball joint if I remember correctly.

Also, slow air buttons, no solenoids, nothing fast, just trouble free.

I want to retain my third row seat. I have a family of 6. Have any pics of what your rear floor looked like after the c notch? Also This is absolutely the lowest C20 suburban I have ever seen. Mabye even the lowest C20 truck as well.

Re: C20 lowered pictures

All you have to have is a piece of flat aluminum to cover the hole in the floor. Just cutting the wood will give you enough clearance. I have seen them with a piece of inner tube with a nice trim ring on it. You can still run a seat. You dont need anything like a road grater setup for daily driving.

Re: C20 lowered pictures

3" lowering springs that had to be chopped to match the axle flip kit in the rear. 2 leafs were removed out if the spring pack. The wheels are ultra phantom 20x9 with nitto 255/45/20 tires. Thanks for the compliment. It rides good, just alittle stiff in the rear end.

I upgraded to disc brakes up front so I ordered the kit from POL. Came with 2.5" drop spindles and I used a 1" lowering spring. In the rear I used a 4 inch drop spring and a 1.5" lowering block.
