lowered my truck today (images after added)

Bought a kit from Early Classic enterprises. Those guys are a class act. Lowered it 3.5 inches front, 5 inches rear. the kit included 2.5 inch drop spindles, 1" ;ower front coils, shocks, shock relocators, panard bar and 4 inch lower coils for the back. the net drop for the rear ended up 5 inches somehow. IT looks AWESOME! I will post the "after" images tomorrow. here is the before.

Re: lowered my truck today

had it done at my tire dealer in case there were backspacing issues on the new wheels/tires I bought. it took them a little over one day including aligning.
will post pics today sometime.

Looks really nice, beautiful truck. I am planning on the 4/6 from ECE. Nice to get a preview of how it looks.

Re: lowered my truck today

I agree with everyone, it looks really nice!
I've got a couple of questions.
Are those corvette rams horns or stock?

Does the lowering kit recommend a shorter drive shaft?

Re: lowered my truck today

This truck is a great example of why I'm banging myself around with yet another build:

The beauty of these trucks is in the same arena as my motivation when I started building Harleys back in the mid-seventies. Each person puts his own design ideas, usually sweat and toil and money, and comes out with something very personal.
Sadly, the HD personalizing thing is a thing of the past. That is, IMHO. There are nice ones, for sure. But mostly, in the m/c mods, I see bolt on stuff instead of what we do with our beloved Chevy/GMC trucks

I love your truck. Yeah, there are things that I would have done differently. So what? There are things you've done that make me drool. And there are things you've done that I'd do EXACTLY the same way. Your truck is beautiful.

I love these trucks. Every one that's shiny, rusty, beat-up or showroom. I love 'em lowered, lifted, stock, hi-tech modified, black, white and everything in between. Big or small block, sixes, four speeds, automatics...whatever.

I like everything about them. I just don't like 'em crushed.

Nice job, Man.

Re: lowered my truck today

It's amazing what the stance can do for a vehicle. Went from stocker to shocker. Looks great.

I can't wait to get the 17" tires for mine now.
