First off i can already tell thisa forum rocks.
Just by looking at the date of the posts, theres already alot for today!
I have tried other forums like myoldtruck.com chevyduty.com and cheavyheartbeat.com
They are nothing compared to here
Well, I just turned 18 on thursday, i have had my truck for one year and 3 weeks
Its Got fac. a/c new paint, (chipped an a few spots, i need to batch it up) Its a 3/4 custom/camper (are they rare at all i never see any) I rebuilt the fac. block in feb. it cost me freakin 1,182$ but i think i did a good job (my first time)
I have duel "series 40 flow masters" very quiet and awesome rumble.

ill post the pic in reply if i can get it to work

Wow....I'd say the pic worked!!!!!!!! Huge pic....very nice truck. We all wish we could start with something that clean. Welcome to the board!!!!!!!!! I think a lot of us came here from other boards, and yes, this board rocks!!!! If you shop for parts, you gotta act fast, as the highly desirable parts get sold in minutes!!! Post a few pics of interior, and engine, and tell us a little more about the truck, and yourself. Enjoy!!!!!!

asda

someone asked if it was stock...
The engine rebuild
original .030 block 4-bolt
Cam is a very mild race cam. very mild
i have stcok 1.94 heads
cast crank
q-jet carb
cast pistons..
bassically stock execpt for a Professional products intake manifold
The interior is pretty basic also
I recently REdid all the Vents for the a/c and heater
It has a pioneer tape deck (never cuttin that dash)
it has some 90's model wheels that i think go with the truck great, altho, im missin one of the hubcaps so if anyone willsell me one, i'd appriciate it.

Welcome from Houston, Tx

Dang! That’s a sweet truck, even the paint in the bed looks’ good! I'm 20 years old and I know I couldn't afford nothing that fine. How much did it cost you 1-year and 3-weeks ago? Don't worry, nobody will be mad if you’re a rich white boy.

Matt67 I dont know if you were jokin but i am not a rich white Boy, i take offence to that..
Lemmi explain something.
My dad grew up poor, and had to pay for everything himself, he, actually does have some extra money, but he keeps that for himself, he makes me pay for everything i buy. I saved up and saved up for that truck. I got a loan to pay for the rest at 6% intrest and 200$ a month.

the guy wanted 6,000 For it, but i drive a hard bargin and i only paid 5,300 for it. Im not a rich white boy, and i wrok for eveything i have. Right now im flippin burgers at Braum's and makin 6.25

this board Rocks!!
well, if i sounded upset, i kinda was.. See, my dad owns a business in fort worth "texsun Electric" and all the guys at his shop always say.. Why does it take you so long to rebuild that motor, if your dad pays for everything. They get me soo mad for saying that because i work my butt off to pay for that motor and they dont belive i did anything.. i just dont like ppl thinking i get everything handed too me because my dad has a little cash..
Sorry if i sound like im lecturing you guys, im trying not too.
The reason i found such a cleen truck is because i looked for months, I bought so many "truck traders" looked online, drove down the "million dollar mile" so many times.. i knew what was out there and exaclty what i wanted
