Re: 67-72 Chevy trucks 2007 Calendar pics

I would offer up my truck but I think that she is too big boned to be a model though.

As you can see she is pretty curvy, but I like her like that.

If you feel that my truck is worthy, you have my permission, and my thanks. Just have to supply you with some better pics without that F*rd in tow.

Basic specs;

Started out life in Oshawa, ON in '68. I bought it in '01 and drove it for a year. Decided to remove the I-6 3 on the tree and install a 305. Well once my dad and I got into it we built this. Three years later I drove it for the first time in its current state to my wedding. Finished it to road worthy condition at 2:30 and it was a 3 o'clock service. Had time to throw on my tux and that was about it. It was kinda nice having my side of the wedding party, right down to the ring bearer working up until then. We where all late but what the heh, we had fun.

1968 GMC 910 mounted on a 1992 GMC 3500
5.7 l, NV4500 5 speed.
Cab has been stretched 20" to accomodate my 10 week old son's car seat. We custom built the dual fenders out of regular stepside fenders. This truck was built to haul the car trailer and the house trailer (not at the same time) It is nice to have such a good working truck that I can show as well.

Re: 67-72 Chevy trucks 2007 Calendar pics

I love the idea (I asked about this on a picture thread) - but I would really like every other month/picture to NOT be an "above average" truck but someone's project truck. Must be running and on the road, but just one of the trucks from the regular (i.e., non-big money) folks on the board.

Re: 67-72 Chevy trucks 2007 Calendar pics

The 4 picture deal is so that you just did not post one pic. See Ten send as many as you want because you have some sweet trucks buddy. This will run through midnight next Sat. so then we can compile them.
Keep them coming and I want to see more Blazers and Burbs.

Some of you have mentioned you want others included like everyday drivers.
We will be getting to more if this works out. And this is almost like the everyday drivers as the backgrounds are not the perfect settings in most cases. They are things we are doing or where we are living. In a perfect world we would have all the pics done in magazine type quality photos.

Thanks alot. I like to think that she represents the full figure models nicely. Here is a pic taken last year at our local show by a photographer. It was printed on 11" x 14" paper and the bed on my scanner won't handle the whole thing, but here is the meat and potatoes of the picture. The rest is basically just the gravy.

EDIT: It looks alot better in the original, when I shrunk it down it went kinda funky.

Here is a quote from Josh from the general discussion board. (DEADLINE DECEMBER 15TH)

Few quick guidelines for submitting.
Must be your own photo that you can give permission to use.
Must be your own vehicle.
Can be a burb, blazer, panel etc. as long as it is a Chevy or GMC truck.
Please include details on the truck submitted, like engine, custom stuff done, etc.
Please have a high resolution version you can email in order for the best print quality.
Deadline for submissions is December 15th. If we fill the calendar before then we will cut it off early.

Thanks for the submissions!

as I've said in other forums and post I am makin more than one, and will have different style calendars.

We need really high res picture also, the attached size are good for a preview, but we need a 3 megapixel minimum, 5 preffered for optimal print quality.
