510 Medium blue = Hawaiian blue?

Is the 510 medium blue also what they call Hawaiian blue?

Trying to find pics of trucks in that color and that keeps coming up. They sure look the same.

I had not seen that link. You and I need to hang out, you have the answers to all my questions today =)

I did a google image search of the board. That's where I saw all the references to Hawaiian blue mixed in with the medium blue.

Re: 510 Medium blue = Hawaiian blue?

I bought some touch up paint in Checker Auto that matched the medium blue metallic shade the PO's FiL shot over a GMC copper/Bronse color. It was labelled ''Maui Blue''. Not a stretch to wonder how long it took the marketing boys to come up with that name. Probably the same color. Labelled as a GM shade by duplicolor. Maybe a Caddy or B-O-P shade.

Nice, I love Maui so Maui blue sounds nice =) But you said its metallic, so its going to be a little different because Hawaiian blue/510 medium blue is non metallic.

Re: 510 Medium blue = Hawaiian blue?

72 truck brochure names it …. Hawaiian Blue, hard to read but circled in picture.

Dark blue below it is Mariner Blue, but Dark Blue on the SPID.
