66 gmc burban
I'm looking at picking up a 66 burban, but it being a gmc it has leaf springs in the rear. I'm wondering how you guys dropped the rear ? It doesn't look to have much room between the frame and the rear end/leaf springs . I've seen the lowered leafs from lmc, but anything less expensive? I was thinking lowering blocks but the leafs are on top of the rear? Remove some leafs ? Thanks for any help

Do an axle flip. That might require a small C-notch though.

I don't remember since it's been many years since I have done one, but it is quite a bit. Probably 5-6".
You can remove some leafs from the spring pack, but then you get into spring wrap issues. Quote:
